Reviews
Such a cozy spot - loved the food, service was incredible, overall a really great spot with a beautiful view of the city.
I came here for their pancake, and it turned out fabulous!✨🥞 I was able to talk to the owner and she told me this is a Japanese style. Texture was the big point. It smelled really good, and it was crispy at the edge, soft and chewy inside. It came with syrup, fruits, and butter. Simple but tasty.
Compared, chocolate lava cake was not that special. But still, if that’s what u like, nothing wrong to get it.
I did see some reviews talking about bad services, and I hope those staff could be trained more. I’m lucky cause people treated me well that night.
Do not go here. These are thenmost unprofessional and unreliable restaurateurs in town. We reserved a table for two tonight for 7 pm. Five times during the day, I received texts asking me to confirm and/or reminding me that the reservation was for 7. Each time I confirmed. We walked over in the freezing cold, arriving at 7 on the dot, only to find two cleaners closing up. They said the entire staff and cooks had left because “it was slow today so the manager decided to go home.” Nobody called us. Nobody texted us. Nobody emailed us. They just closed without bothering to contact those who had confirmed reservations. I wouldn’t spend a dime here.
This place is an absolute GEM. Incredible service today, the food is low key spectacular ( the chicken and arugula sandwich and the Caesar were both off the charts) and the view of Manhattan is amazing. We had such a lovely lunch here. Will be back many times.
Very good food and service. Would have given five stars if not one of our party member receiving her order way late (the others were almost finished eating)! I believe this is a one shot non-recurring issue. Would definitely come back.
The food was absolutely amazing like 20 out of 10 but the service is so terrible I only recommend take out, we were seated and it took 15 minutes to even get talk to a waiter, also I asked for a cup of ice 7 times and they just kept forgetting everything lol there were only about 5 tables seated so not so busy,
Two round of drinks and water we personally got up and walked up to grab. Food is great but service is non existent. The brought us a drink and it had a small bug in it and waitress had a super issue taking it back but again food is awesome!!!
Great indoor/outdoor cafe (outdoor with patio umbrellas available or indoor cafe and bar seating). We’ve been a few times and the food gets better each time. I recommend the pancakes and the breakfast burrito. Ask for hot sauce on the side with the burrito because it otherwise doesnt have a ton of flavor on its own. Drink prices very reasonable here you can get a Guinness for $7 for example. They have good cocktails too. The food can come out a little slower than compared with other spots I have noticed but if you go in expecting to just sit and have a chill meal and you’re not in a rush then its a great choice to eat at.
Interesting that other people noted the poor service. I came well into dinner time and they still made me pancakes which were really good. They did totally forget my drink with my food but I didn't really care because the pancakes were so good. My friend came and we ordered a little more food and I reminded them about the drink.
When the bill came they charged me for 2 drinks, I guess because I asked twice even though the drink only came once. I told them about it though and they even offered to take additional money off the bill.
Anyway, it wasnt perfect but I'm giving 5 because they were nice to me. id love to come back on a warmer Sunday and eat a fat pancake with that great view. We sat inside this time because it was a little chilly but they have some great tables out front that look prime.
